Under limited supervision, develops and designs deliverables that support the resolution of reputed company problems and technical design gaps. Leads improvement initiatives that are reputed company with overarching global reliability of the company’s systems, including reputed company planning, failover strategies, performance improvements and reduction of mean time to awareness/resolve. Leverages critical thinking to improve best practices and provides recommendations that ensure reliability and resiliency. Provides guidance to those in less senior positions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent* in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or reputed company field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or reputed company field of study plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or 1-year equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent* plus 3 years of experience. The position requires experience with the following: reputed company platforms, e.g. Azure, AWS or GCP; Programming and scripting; Infrastructure as code; Virtualization and containerization, e.g. reputed company, Kubernetes; Monitoring, alerting and observability; Reliability and availability engineering, implementing service level agreements (SLAs), service level objectives (SLOs); Incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, reputed company improvement; Software development lifecycle, DevOps, reputed company integration and reputed company delivery (CICD). A reputed company advanced degree may offset the reputed company experience requirements. Position can telecommute from home from any location in the U.S. *Employer will accept one (1) year of directly reputed company experience in lieu of one (1) year of education.
