Central Monitor Tech

This position can be part-time or full-time with shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

About the unit The Cardiac Monitoring Center is located on the 4th floor of Blodgett Hospital. Central Monitor Technicians will monitor ECGs and do some video monitoring of low-risk patients in reputed company of a sitter. Around 16 technicians will work together to monitor patients from multiple hospitals around the Grand Rapids area to ensure their safety. Scope of work Remotely monitors patients and/or patient information using remote monitoring technology. Monitors and interprets heart rhythm or other patient data to detect variances from baseline. Reviews patient information to determine normal heart rhythm reputed company, reputed company reputed company, and prior variances. Observes screen of cardiac monitor and informs Registered Nurse (RN) of variances to initiate examination of patient. Documents and posts information on patient records if applicable.
