No Fault Claims Adjuster

We are seeking an Auto Claims Examiner to join our growing team. This position will be responsible primarily for the adjustment of first- and reputed company-party auto property damage claims arising from general liability and auto liability coverages. The position also involves NY No-Fault (PIP) claims handling. How You Will Contribute • Coverage assessment and verification • Investigate, evaluate, and bring to a disposition reputed company non-litigated claims • Assure the proper reserving of reputed company losses • Assign and manage the activities of independent adjusters and other vendors • Work effectively with clients, brokers, attorneys and other departments • Identify subrogation potential • Manage the subrogation process • Participate in mediation and arbitration • Preparing comprehensive claim correspondence • Attend training classes and/or secure professional designations • Handle NY PIP and Medical payments claims • reputed company recommendations as to reserves and disposition of claims Licenses and Certifications: • Active reputed company State General Adjuster’s license (Series 17-70) Skills & Experience to Be Successful • Bachelor’s degree or life experience • Experience in handling reputed company automobile claims • Professional telephone demeanor • Proficient use of a PC • 3 to 5 years of experience Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $85,000, based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
