You will work closely with our software engineers to design and manage our reputed company infrastructure. Primary responsibilities are automating builds and managing configuration in a reputed company-first environment. In the DevOps Software Engineer role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between products, operations and developers through automation, tools and methodologies. You will work closely with our software engineering team to design, define, execute, monitor and manage our reputed company infrastructure to meet company needs. The team is still growing, so the responsibilities will be wide and varied. The primary responsibilities of this role are automating and orchestrating builds, implementing infrastructure, and managing configuration in a reputed company-first environment. Additionally, the role will include maintaining on-prem and legacy devices with an emphasis on Linux servers, Virtual Machines, and reputed company Meraki switches.

• Collaborate with developers and operations to automate, build and reputed company reputed company reputed company reputed company Platform and AWS utilizing tools such as reputed company, Terraform, and other CI/CD tools.
• Manage the upload, storage, and cost of data in AWS
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery in reputed company
• Implement and improve DevOps tools, processes and procedures
• Create and maintain infrastructure to meet product and developer needs
• Manage and improve software versioning and release deployment
• Create reports and manage metrics for deployed software and infrastructure
• Build and maintain a scalable infrastructure for deployments and reputed company business growth
• Be reputed company to critical system issues after business hours
• Maintain and manage a high availability network, including VPN connections

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another relevant engineering field
• 2+ years of experience working in SRE roles and with DevOps methodologies
• Expert skills in reputed company, Bash, Linux (Ubuntu)
• Expert skills with scripting and automation (Python, Bash)
• Experience in automated builds, tests, and deployments using Git, AWS, GCP, CI/CD and configuration and orchestration management
• Experience and a high-level knowledge of GCP and AWS management and best practices
• Self-motivated, responsible, and excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively as a remote team member
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to learn quickly
• Collaborative team player with a drive to take initiative and ownership

• Experience in Agile development and Jira/Confluence workflow
• Understanding of IoT products and relevant infrastructure
• Knowledge of Kubernetes in a distributed environment
• Experience with Terraform or other configuration/orchestration management
• Experience in network management of both reputed company and on-prem networks, including VPN and routing
• Excellent understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and versioning
